A 6-Week Mind-Body Pain Relief Program

Maybe it’s a nagging pain you’ve had for years. Maybe you are tired all the time and just can’t shake it. Maybe you have felt overwhelmed and stressed for as long as you can remember and don’t see a way out.

Join me for a 6-week program combining scientifically proven techniques to help you manage your symptoms and become empowered in the face of chronic pain and stress. Each one-hour session will focus on a different aspect of pain management including:

  • Yoga postures and intentional movement specifically designed for pain relief

  • Guided meditations and breathwork practices to promote relaxation and stress reduction

  • Mindfulness practices to help you stay present and centered.

    When you register you will get exclusive access to a private Facebook group where you will have daily access to ask questions, discuss topics, and connect with others in the group.

Private Yoga.

This is for individuals or small groups looking for a yoga session with personalized feedback, suggestions for modifications, use of props, and exploration of variations. If you are new to yoga, this can help you learn the postures and increase your confidence in your yoga practice. If you are looking to deepen your practice, we will work together to address your goals as related to strength, flexibility, or recovery.

Yoga Pop-ups.

Offering pop-up yoga classes throughout Charleston.

Pop-ups are an all levels vinyasa style yoga flow. Class will guide you through 45 minutes of gentle movements, stretching, and mindfulness to calm and recharge your mind and body.

Masterclass.

Implement the concepts of polyvagal theory into your own experience through a guided mapping exercise of your nervous system. We will take a deeper dive into the various states of the nervous system and what they look like for you, while identifying tools to increase your ability to regulate your system. We will then identify various ways yoga and meditation can be used as a therapeutic modality both in your practice and your own life to further increase self-awareness and regulation. 

Regulating the Nervous System: Bringing Yoga and Polyvagal Mapping to OT

This Masterclass will enable you to:

  • Identify the various states of the nervous system.

  • Complete your personal profile map of your nervous system.

  • Identify “Triggers and Glimmers”, what brings you in and out of each state.

  • Identify Regulating Resources.

  • Identify how yoga and meditation can be used as therapeutic modalities.
